We are who we choose to be

Last Saturday, I got to do something cool, something that I never (seriously) imagined I would be able to do. I'm very lucky that I'm surrounded by people who didn't set limitations on me. They believed in me, even before I believed in myself. That's what makes the world a better place. I'm blessed to have these people in my life, and I wanted to say a big THANK YOU to everyone who guided me, inspired me, coached me, listened to me, was brave for me, and cheered for me (particularly over the last 5 months). Thank you for your time, your good vibes, your positive encouragement, and your constructive feedback.

I think the best part of all for me was getting to meet SO many people after my talk. So many of you came up to me and thanked me for rationalizing their passion for Comic-Con. The true story is that their passion was valid all along. I am a product of circumstance, fate, and blessings, and Comic-Con was also what led me to add "choice" to that list. We are who we choose to be.  

I encourage each of you, true believers, to believe in yourself. I believe in you. And who knows - you may be thankfully surprised.
